@stonehippo Something that should be interesting if this stuff takes off is that folks playing with Mastodon & other OStatus implementations & the underlying protocols can experiment with more / different features on their instances

@taotetek FWIW, it took me about an hour to stumble through getting the Mastodon Docker container going on my toot.lmorchard.com instance. Of course, now that I have a gift horse, I need to look into the care & feeding. The federation worked right off the bat though @ceejbot

Now that I've got my own mastodon instance, I'm tempted to go all-in and just do all my tooting from there. But then, I want to play with it and I might break it. So I'm also tempted not to move

I guess this just means I need to set up a second mastodon instance for the express purpose of breaking it
