So, I haven't deleted my Facebook & Twitter accounts yet. But I'm thinking about it a lot.
Switched off all notifications years ago. No apps installed, only web. Dropped down to only checking Facebook once a week. Twitter's headed for the same.
Got close friends & family on Facebook I don't really hear from in any other way. Got decade-old acquaintances on Twitter who I've only known from that channel.
It's a tough transition, and of course I've got all the privilege in the world.
Of course, I've also got a metric ton of social anxiety, so computer-mediated-communication is pretty much my main social prosthetic. So, dropping those familiar channels is a lot like moving to a new city / planet.
