Worked through trying to get some JS to send off an ActivityPub message, but I think I got hung up on the HTTP Signature part. Didn't end the stream with a success, but will come back to it again later.
Oh, hmm. I was following this little tutorial to try to get a message out, but working in JS instead of Ruby. Tried the Ruby code verbatim against my instance, and it didn't work either đĨ
