It was an exhausting caturday

After many hours of tinkering today and trying all the wrong things, I finally discovered that webpack-dev-server can proxy another web server - including websockets.

I hope the facepalm forehead-dent pops back out by tomorrow.

@zcampau It's got a long long long way to go... It's receiving messages, but not delivering any yet. I should actually get back onto a stream while hacking on it

@jesse@pdx.social Feel like I'm really getting it sometimes and then everything goes WTF :)

The cool thing (to me anyway) that I think I just got all working: A Glitch project with hot reloading on the web front-end, server URL routes, and websocket message handlers. Only have to restart the whole thing for a few rare cases.

Caturday continues into sunday

Man, the American version of the first Pokemon movie makes absolutely no sense

@danbruno Just curious, but do you think it would help to have a browser add-on that automatically collects RSS feeds from sites you visit?

It could a) let you later review & subscribe to found feeds, b) prompt to subscribe after a few visits, c) auto-subscribe to build a feed from browser history

Just a side project idea I've been kicking around for a while

@danbruno That's part of what I'm trying to think through, like heuristics for when to decide a feed discovered in the background is worth tracking. But general idea would be that you don't have to

@danbruno (but also that there could be a panel somewhere showing discovered feeds so you *could* decide manually too)
