Got a free Google Home Mini. Played with it, unplugged it, now mulling over whether I can use it for anything or jab any wires into it to make it interesting
My usual problem with this voice computing thing is that it never does what I want and I can't be arsed to learn whatever Zork-esque parser some device uses.
That and, well, the only reason they talked to "Computer" on Star Trek is because it was dramatically boring to watch someone use a computer.
And, you know, it creeps me out a little when my tools are haunted by automated customer service line personalities.
