(and I realize I sound like 100 years old when I say that, but that's something I can lean into)

@tek Pretty sure I have a college mix tape somewhere with those songs in that order, followed by like Screaming Trees and maybe The Lemonheads
Oh hey, look, someone made The Matrix but for Tamagotchis http://tamahive.spritesserver.nl/
Last night's mad science was setting up a Synchronet BBS instance on the RaspPi 3 that runs my little bartop arcade machine, since it seems to have spare capacity.
For even further mad science, I set up a persistent autossh session with reverse port forwarding to a tiny Google Cloud VM so people can actually "call" it.
I still need to tinker with getting some DOOR games set up again. Also, poking at maybe getting a live video stream capture of the display running games
Also, I've had a long-running VM for hobby shenanigans that I'm shutting down in March. Trying to see how many things I can move to dirt cheap Amazon S3 static hosting. Also how many things I can move onto little computers in my office with reverse port fowards out to tiny cloud VMs
@emsenn Yeah, my AWS usage is mainly habit and because it's what we were using for many projects at work. Might be a good idea for me to migrate away. Main thing is that my AWS use has never cost me more than $1-3 per month
Has anyone heard of a decent tool for capturing a stream from the display framebuffer of a Raspberry Pi 3? I'm tinkering with telepi, but it seems unstable.
