I have learned how to hack / jailbreak / whatever my Nintendo 3DS and it was kind of a delight? And now I have a slight urge to, like, tinker with 3DS homebrew? It probably won't last
And also, sure sure, you can plonk pirated game ROMs on a hacked 3DS.
But you can also dump the contents of carts you physically own, hide those away somewhere safe, and install the dumps on a big huge internal SD card. Which is pretty keen
Like this is not new stuff to the world, but it's exciting & new to me!

Also, while I hem & haw over buying Pokemon Shield / Sword for Switch, I started playing Ultra Sun on my 3DS.
Then, I fell down a rabbit hole of "who's my dad?" and landed on a pile of "Your Mom's Meowth is a Ditto who once took human form and slept with her and so that's your dad"
I really kind of wish the Poke-verse was this kind of weird
