An idea i just rambled out: a radiation exposure badge except for social contact. Ambient chatter and pushing a button to register each person interacted with makes it shade to black, at which point a silkwood shower and a good sulk in solitude is prescribed until it decays back to white

@matt i just throw more usb battery packs at my phone if i think I'll be wandering, but i do feel power percentage dropping viscerally
@jamie Ohai! :) Yeah, it's like a Facebook-ish thing that's fully distributed yet tied to a per-device database. So you are your computer, I guess? Being able to publish offline and then connect to sync up later seems neat?
Actually... I wonder if this is a thing I could actually do with, say, an eInk display and an ESP32 with other bits & bobs?
