Fell down a rabbit hole of options to get good live video stream capable network connectivity out to my workshop across the small yard from my house.

Powerline adapter sucks. Mesh sucks. Digging up the no-lawn landscaping for new trenches sucks. Bunch of tabs open now on running fiber optic cable through an existing underground electrical conduit, mostly because it seems like fun.

@george Maybe? A complicating thing is that the house is old and the plaster walls are almost a faraday cage. Workshop is pretty shielded too. Might need antennas in windows for something like that

@george Or I guess outdoor-mountable PtP antennas are a thing. Wonder how terrible that is for pushing out a video stream
