Here's what I spewed out tonight, a weird little fantasy magic battle royale scene
@jojo Yeah, practically speaking, I was following the prompt of the cards and wanted to work in a "win at all costs" situation and came up with a betrayal.
I'd also started writing it as kind of a video game eSports thing, but then it kind of shifted to "real" fantasy. That made it quite a bit more grim (i.e. losing is final - except maybe not because magic?) and Rhys a lot more ruthless.
If I wrote more on it, I'd really want to get into why this game is happening. And definitely get more into this Rhys / Althea relationship
I really love forgetting what I was doing in the middle of doing it. I'd say I'm going senile, but it's a been a thing for me for as long as I can remember. Guessing it's just more ADHD fun
