Today’s writing exercise turned into a fantasy thing about a dragon blog.lmorchard.com/2022/04/21/

Been entirely burnt out on coding side projects for many months now.

But, since I started this daily creative writing habit and have been using Tarot cards as writing prompts, I suddenly want to yak shave and build a better writing prompt generator.

And I just found an MIT licensed Tarot card set. :ohno:

My current process of getting a Tarot card draw is so super grungy:

  • open Labrynthos on my phone, get a 3-card spread
  • hit share to get a link to the spread
  • paste the link into an Obsidian note for the day's exercise
  • open the note on my laptop, visit the link
  • screenshot the web page with the cards
  • paste the screenshot into the Obsidian note

(this feels like an old person's way to use a computer. am i an old now?)

I would screenshot the page with cards on my phone, but it seems like iOS removed the ability to capture an entire web page a version or two ago

@mood@jorts.horse vintage post-it on my CRT monitor listing the exact path through Microsoft Word menus to set margins

@mcg I’ve seen mention of the existence of this full page tab, but it’s missing on my phone and I’ve read that it disappeared in some iOS update
