Heading into review season here at work, which is weird because I've only been here a couple of months.

Someone gave me feedback that I'm calm and authentic? I feel anxious and shady, so I guess at least the output of my Chinese room human simulation is performing well? 😅

Just got a newsletter from the compsci department at my alma mater. Sad to see one of my favorite professors passed away.

Also feel bad that the first memory that came to mind was the semester when he used a wireless lapel mic so we could hear him better in class - and he forgot to turn it off when he went to the lavatory.
