Yow! I wrote an algorithm this weekend for work!

Haven't done that in quite awhile, which is not how I thought it would go when I grew up as a senior engineer. But, so it goes

@otto @piko I grew up with black squirrels in Michigan and yeah they don't mess around.

Meanwhile, in Oregon, I have a half dozen brown squirrels who hang out all splooted and chill on my patio when I sit outside for lunch. I feel like a disney princess

Fun fact: My wife and I have the same birthday (today!) but different years. It's a nice little household holiday. We're often not believed at restaurants and suchlike and show ID to prove it.

Someone riding a bike past my house just did a Tarzan yell. Hope they're having just the best day.

My home office chair occasionally makes a small creak noise that sounds just like the start of one of the cats puking and it grabs my attention almost every time

For bonus points, sometimes I'm bopping to a song or something and the chair goes "hup hup" and I'm like ":ohno:​ oh no" before I realize it was just me
