Handed out candy tonight for the first time since the start of the panini. Only had about a dozen kids and started handing out double fist-fulls of candy to clear out the stock.

The highlight of the night was when one girl had a half-dozen baggies of fruit snacks and asked if I would trade her for all our milk duds. Next kid who came along wanted all the fruit snacks. Gives me an idea for next year to set up a candy trading post.

Had a little left when we decided to bail for dinner. Left it in bowl on the porch with a "help yourself" sign. Checked later to find it all gone and a few kit kats and reeces cups scattered on the walk, like someone made a fast getaway.

Really wish I'd taken a bike ride today around the Willamette today. Would have had a great view of the Paddleboard Witches from my usual route

Also I'm starting to think that Mariah Carey is my mortal enemy and Jack Skellington did nothing wrong by stealing Christmas

@requiem @otto @thegibson @socketwench I don't know if this is a metaphor for something, but at one point I got a yellow belt in Judo and then the main use for my old white belt was tying on ice-packs for when I inevitably twisted an ankle or otherwise goofed up by overextending

from birdsite but "tech tip: no" is pretty funny

I also realize this is a screenshot of a screenshot, which IMO only makes it funnier
