Hmmm, I see the discourse continues. Only notions I have about it are a) I'm could stand to use CWs more and b) I'm grateful for gentle nudges & hints on things I should have stuck behind a CW and c) I oftimes make bad jokes

It's windy & chilly out and I have "The Carnival is Over" by Dead Can Dance stuck in my head
Best thing I just saw on TikTok today was "(patting stomach) who wants a six-pack when you can hold more beer in a keg?"
I'm pretty sure the neurons in my brain associated with "1997 Ford Probe" haven't fired in about 20 years at least, but they sure glitch-lurched into action today
Also now I remember the high school friend I had who drove a Ford Probe with a trunk full of Alpine subwoofers and an endless stream of Easy-E, Public Enemy, and NWA in the CD changer.
Oh! And occasionally the entire catalogue of Rush CDs, which one day I managed to get from him in trade for a few comic books.
Anyway, this weird little thread brought to you by my brain going wheee
I had a comic that was, I think, the first appearance of Cable in New Mutants no. 87. My friend desperately wanted it. He was also an enormous fan of Rush. Owned every album.
One day he was like, "What will it take to get that comic from you?"
And I was like, "Gimme all your Rush CDs," not thinking he'd ever do that.
But, he was like, "Deal. They're all in my trunk right now. Gimme the comic."
So I gave him the comic and he gave me like 15 CDs. I guess the comic's worth $150 now? I dunno, I still listen to the CDs occasionally though.
So, things seem to be going well at Twitter HQ

Seeing a lot of folks with 8, 9, 10 years of time at Twitter leaving under this hashtag. Going to be interesting to see where all these folks end up next
