@b0rk@mastodon.social I've been playing around with a static site as a fedi-ring. Mostly works, though I have found a few fediverse servers aren't as open :/ GoToSocial, at least, requires HTTP signatures on GET requests for Actor JSON.

Slacking a bit on Anchovy updates. Main thing is we tried switching her to a high calorie food but made the mistake of doing it abruptly, which caused… problems. Working on getting her sorted out and back on the road to fattening up.

Also got a big 300 watt heated mat (thanks @Macross for the pointer) and her carrier is up to 70F with some better insulation. That’ll look better on the power bill than 1500 watts 😅

@Greg heh, yeah I was looking at some bluetooth and wifi thermometer widgets but they were like 2x to 10x the price. Figured someday I could hack this thing up with a cheap microcontroller as a hobby project if I really really wanted that

(Also worth noting that the cat's shelter is still warmer than my own, just not 88F)
