Scientology

Welp, the Scientologists have sent me more stuff. They send me something every other day, just about. But today, it’s the glossy magazine I get every month or so

Scientology

Featuring “LRH”

Scientology

A new e-meter gadget, a streaming service, a quasi-naval org, and an end to social distancing clearing the path on LRH way

Scientology

Also, inexplicably, an article on the Incas and how they did not discover Scientology

Scientology

On my phone right now, will edit at a good keyboard to add some handy alt text to these here images a little later

Scientology

@float13 they’ve been digging up new writings from that guy for 37 years now

Scientology

@aardvark hahaha I didn’t even see that disclaimer

Scientology

@montag @float13 yeah, they say you have to call a bookstore “officer” which I think means a whole process

@roadriverrail Back in about 1990, when I was 15, I got interested in Dianetics from the old volcano TV commercials. I was into reading a lot of pop psych and self-help at the time.

At some point I took a sidewalk personality test in Royal Oak, MI, where there used to be a Scientology org. From there, I got suckered into a $150 course on self-esteem and assertive communication.

Ever since then, across at least 12 address changes and 3 states, they have followed me.

Scientology

@roadriverrail I am kinda baffled that it’s been over 30 years without a bite, but maybe they hope I’ll strike it rich and feel a need to come back

@thegibson This is, of course, impossible because all breakers are always correctly labelled and wiring in houses is done properly
