A power outage at 6am is fun with a CPAP machine
@Cloudscout @danhon Yeah, they exist. But, from my experience with a half-dozen machines now, the power inputs differ in voltage and connector even between machines from the same manufacturer.
It's a real pain, so there's a bespoke battery solution for every machine - that or an assemblage of funky adapters that don't always work.
@Cloudscout @danhon I'm kind of at a point where someday I'll just stick a car battery, charger, and inverter in the bedroom and call it a UPS
@Cloudscout @danhon Yeah, I had one that was straight 12V. Then I had another at 12V but with a special sensing-pin connector that wouldn't run without proprietary cables.
My current machine is 24V, also with special cables. There's a lighter socket adapter for it, but it locks out the humidifier when used. Fun all around
