There's, like, some really weird tension amongst gamers and devs right now about the fact that BG3 is a very well done video game and a lot of other video games have not been done well at all in general for many years now

@onelson Oh, it's the whole thing where BG3 is well done and a few devs have come out on Twitter and suchlike to say that it's an anomaly not to expect in general as a standard in games.

Which, from a certain perspective is reasonable. But, from another perspective, is galling in the face of broken games and microtransactions.
