Still much enjoying this BOOX Tab Ultra C color e-ink tablet.
The one thing I wish it wouldn't do is turn on when plugged in to charge. Especially not with the cover closed.
But then, all my Android and iOS devices turn on when they start charging. It's annoying as heck.

A scene from earlier today in Montreal:
A touristy man wanders out of my hotel as I approach. Loudly, he says "hohn hohn, oui oui" and laughs at himself.
A woman rolling by on a Bixi rental e-bike flicks a lit cigarette at him with impressive accuracy.
He doesn't notice.
Also, those Bixi e-bikes are pretty legit here. Kinda like the orange Nike e-bikes we have in PDX, only much less Nike-ie
@giflian I've been really enjoying it for reading comics and suchlike. Color is a slight bit washed out, but not unlike newsprint. Pretty fast refresh rate too, it can almost play video

Dangerous: there’s an airport bar with drinkable beer within sight of the gate for my flight home and i still have 2 hours to kill.
This is not the worst thing but also my travel day started 14 hours ago, so my faculties are already not the keenest
@giflian similar, it seems way less eye-strainy for me. also i do like sitting in sunlight on occasion and the tablet works amazingly for that with the backlight entirely off. Battery for days
@socketwench i think there is one about 10 minutes’ walk from here but I’m tired of walking. I should really get some motorized riding luggage
