So we got this ladder to help with some painting. It operates like a LeMarchand Box from Hellraiser.
I’m afraid it’ll guillotine my fingers and toes off between sliding rungs, before snapping into the Lament Configuration to summon Cenobites who definitely will not help us paint

Still seeing folks write long substack thinkpieces about whether or not to quit Twitter - or maybe "stay and fight"
And I'm like... fight what? I've said it before: you're trying to fight the mall to stop them remodeling the food court. It's not your space.
It doesn't matter how many years you've spent loitering there and having good times and maybe making a living. They're still going to rip out the Sbarro's and all the tables and chairs.
It's not an 80s movie where you and your plucky pals are going to fundraise to save the community center from the rich jerk. The sale already went through.
