@soypunk @danhon yeah, alas that went on my deep to-do list and I've yet to manage to do it. :sadcowblob:
I'm currently eyeing @casey 's Postmarks for this sort of thing though
@randomgeek @rafial FWIW, most of what I'd liked a noSQL database for was loosey-goosey JSON-shaped document storage & indexing.
Most of that can be done nowadays in sqlite & postgres with JSON functions and virtual / generated columns
@randomgeek @rafial Oh yeah, I blogged about my shenanigans with cramming a Mastodon export into a sqlite DB https://blog.lmorchard.com/2023/05/12/toots-in-sqlite/

Man I love Zoom & macOS. Somehow, between the two of them, they lost the window for the meeting to which I am currently connected.
I can hear it, but when I go through every single window, it's nowhere to be found. Expose / mission control / whatever it's called these days seems to think Zoom has only its main window - "Show All Windows" doesn't find it.
"Zoom Meeting" is listed under Zoom's "Window" menu, but clicking on it does nothing
Had to quit Zoom, relaunch and rejoin the meeting. Seemed like it got really confused after the presenter shared, unshared, shared screen again and it went through various window juggling shenanigans
Like, seriously, I wish Zoom didn't transform into a radically different UI depending on whether I'm screen sharing, the presenter is screen sharing, or I guess whatever else
@jesse Yeah, no, that didn't help. Tried every desktop switch, mission control zoom-out, window zoom / switch / whatever. Just lost to the ether
This is also not the first time this bug has happened to me, either. Just the latest time. Ugh.
@anca Heh, yup, that's what I've seen too :blobwhee:
@jalefkowit ooh, I wanna see them use the giant Nerf dart cannon
I think my mistake was trying to run Zoom in a split fullscreen desktop shared with an Obsidian note window.
When the presenter dropped screensharing, Zoom dropped out of full screen for some reason. And then when the presenter re-shared, the Zoom window went off to the void for some other reason.
The reason I think this is because it just happened again - so I had to restart Zoom and rejoin the meeting again.
That'll teach me to try to use fancy macOS window management.
@chris Yeah, alas, already had that checked
@danhon My only magic trick might be that I use three-finger-swipe-up for mission control. Also have middle-mouse mapped to it when I'm at a desk and using my dorky trackball.
I'm constantly bouncing to the zoomed-out view of all windows. (Though I haven't tried Stage Manager yet)
@danhon I keep considering a foot pedal so I can make progress toward turning my Computing Environment into a photoplayer
@danhon Heh, now I want (though don't need) one of these things
I just saw that Ministry, Front Line Assembly, and Gary Numan are coming to town for a show next spring.
15-year-old me would be verklempt.
47-year-old me is dubiously checking bus schedules and next-morning meeting agendas
In case anyone else wants to check bus schedules and meeting agendas, here are the Ministry HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES tour deets
https://post-punk.com/ministry-announces-spring-2024-tour-with-gary-numan-and-front-line-assembly/
On the up side, a Ministry show is one event where going clad in a half-face 3M respirator wouldn't make me look particularly out of place
(maybe this is a criteria I should favor for upcoming shows :thinkspin:)
THIS IS A TEST
suddenly feeling a craving for brains, i think the vaccine got activated
@mathowie Heh, mine went off and then I heard it from someone walking on the sidewalk past my house.
Oh and then also from the presenter in a meeting I'm in right now on Zoom :blobwhee:
@benbrown yeah, i get that when the weather changes
You ever see somebody and want to say "you have nice bones" but you don't say that because it's deranged? Me neither.
