@squeevening I had soooo much lime jello :blobugh:

@squeevening That might actually be less disappointing πŸ˜…

@randomgeek I can easily think of at least three games in that genre that I've liked, so I think I'm a fan too

nice

@Aaronvegh I've been using a BOOX Tab Ultra C for most of the past year, it's been a great little e-ink tablet for reading & writing. Syncs handwritten notes as PDF to Google Drive, which syncs to my home NAS. It can also do WebDAV, but I haven't bothered with it. I can also sync text notes in Obsidian between most of my devices.

I've also been using an iPhone for most of the past 2 years. Apple makes it a pain in the butt to sync with anything I've got except through convoluted iCloud Drive plumbing.

It's that kind of thing that keeps me from getting any further involved in the Apple walled garden. I eye my MacBook Pro with frequent suspicion. My previous phones were Android, and so probably will be my future phones.

Re-reading this piece from The Verge about the CYBERTRUCK wiper arm:

I have an unconfirmed tip in my inbox that says the wiper is actually three blades in a row and that the length of the wiper arm means the tip moves at dangerously fast speeds to traverse the huge arc it has to make on each sweep.

This makes me wonder if there's going to be a recall in the future as somehow the arm assembly ends up launching wipers like a railgun at highway speeds?

Move fast and relearn shit other folks already learned years ago

(too long for a tattoo πŸ€”)

@jxyzn yassssss

Darmok and Salad at Panera

Oh, so THAT’S what happens when I forget the glue stick with PETG on this sheet.

Just on a voyage of discovery over here πŸ˜… (speaking of move fast and relearn shit…)

Well, at least I can flip the sheet over and the enclosure can hold a 2kg spool now

Printed one of my first fidget toys. This is gonna be dangerous

@dominik I mean, admittedly, the repo owner has to turn them on, but πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

My office window is open. I just burped the word "PORK" real loud. Someone walking by outside just yelled "MOTHERFUCKER HAHAHAH" and clapped. :dead:

@craigmaloney Yeah, it's just not really the best tool when the issue title is nearly entirely devoid of useful information during triage

re: Eye contact

@squeevening good luck, may your passages be clear and may you not reveal too many secrets recovering from the sleepy-time drugs

@jpf πŸ™‡

@thegibson Hey now

@fastmail @haleyhnatuk πŸ‘‹ Hello from a happy Fastmail customer also on Mastodon!

Update: I have not stopped playing with this fidget toy since I printed it. The sound is... maddening? Yet I cannot leave it alone.

Oh wild: I just installed an app that opened up with an onboarding video with poppy dance music - and they used the phone's vibration motor as a kind of subwoofer?

@giflian may the odds ever be in your favor

Today! On How It's Made! This full set of adult teeth from Thingiverse

My favorite comment on the printable full set of adult teeth

Baby’s first spaghetti, as the spool holder I printed snapped off in the bracket and the spool fell to block the bed.

Stopped the print, but the spool blocked the bed for a bit. Hopefully didn’t stress out any parts overmuch.

Thinking I need to a) not get another 2kg spool and/or b) set up a rolling stand on the floor of the enclosure so the heavy spool isn't dangling

@ArtifexUmbra Yeah, but confirmations are nice :)
