So I got this Sainsmart Genmitsu 3018 #DIY #CNC machine kit under the tree. Went together easy, printed a few upgrades for it.

The first sample file I tried immediately plunged a tool 3mm into a block of wood and obliterated the blade. Looks like it’s a toy with a learning curve.
