@corbden I still write about needing to recharge on "glamour" pretty regularly in journal entries. That really stuck with me as a metaphor for my headspace.

Also, I'll have to check out your novel! The synopsis reminds me of the Borderland / Bordertown urban fantasy books from the 80s & 90s by Terri Windling and friends. I scarfed all those down back then too

@tankgrrl can't wait until the real consumer version comes out

You know, sometimes I miss when the state-of-the-art in web development was tiling marble.gif in the body tag background attribute

moving prep, pinterest

@c0debabe i think I had that virus last fall

@charliejane @mwl You gotta use the bread stick like a straw

I should revamp my home page with a visitor counter and a guest book

@GossiTheDog is virus noise that thing my computer speakers used to do before I got a call on my cellular phone?

I've also sometimes been tempted to build a new home page with Server-Side Includes. I miss those. You could hit a Perl CGI script for dynamic content

@mhoye Has he tried something like Pico-8? (speaking of things moving around on the screen right away)

@socketwench Might be user error, but I get a "this video is private" error from that link :blobthonkang:

@socketwench 👍 works for me now!

Blue skies and sun? What is this madness? Think I’ll go for a bike ride.

nofap; 4chan; npr

Almost can't believe that "the nofap movement" from 4chan and Reddit has risen to the attention of an NPR podcast.

I did indeed go for a 15 mile bike ride! Realized I hadn't gone more than a mile or two since mid-October, because I don't really have good rain gear. (Which is a dumb thing I should address, considering where I live)
