@nomad oh heck, I'm so sorry... we had a near-miss with something like that. Had our roof replaced but the roofers left a squirrel-sized hole open in the attic, so a squirrel wandered in and then back out. We'd thought it was rats and were staring down potential similar estimates

@fluffy @tedmielczarek I've apparently got the opposite problem - methycellulose is the filler that doesn't cause me issues, instead the psyllium husk stuff is poison

@giflian Yeah, I've been resorting to metamucil lately but it does evil gurgly things for me because I think it ferments on the way through.

IIRC, I've read it's a difference in gut bacteria where psyllium husk (metamucil, soluble) vs methylcellulose (citrucel, non-soluble) varies between folks in how it works out
