Just read a comment thread where someone said something like "funny, when I was a kid it seemed like no one had dietary restrictions 🤷♂️ "
And I'm like, funny when I was a kid it seemed like everyone had mysterious stomach issues, unexplained rashes, crippling migraines, and occasionally dropped dead for no good reason 🤷♂️
I'm getting old and I don't seem to think that everybody had it figured out when I was a kid. I don't understand why other olds think that was the case?

Same goes for just about every other thing I hear an old say in that template, "when I was a kid nobody {was,had,needed} {x,y,z}"
Like, sure, there's been a lot of thinking & figuring since you were age 12, bud. Some conclusions were come to and some notions changed.
