So, I check in on some Usenet feeds. Ignoring the binary groups, it's 50000 bots shilling viagra and four 60-year-old dudes calling each other morons.

Last minute trip to the Bay Area, now I find myself at a hotel near the airport without a car. Wish I could summon a mount, WoW-style

And I don't feel like it's worth renting a car out of pocket just so I could do things like "drive to that one frozen yogurt place in Santa Clara next to where we used to live 18 years ago"

@robdaemon Yeah, I try real hard not to ever use uber or lyft, but sometimes it is near inevitable

@cinebox Huh, I am very suspicious of that data showing "Detroit-Warren-Dearborn, MI" near the least daily miles driven. I lived there and couldn't do a single thing without driving at least 2-5 miles just to leave the neighborhood
