Hmm, okay: Still on a bit of a gaming on Linux journey. Installed Bazzite, but A) the entire KDE Plasma environment crashes on sleep and B) I can't get Mass Effect Legendary Edition to run

Going to try Pop!_OS in the hopes of at least addressing point A and maybe also B just thanks to shaking the boggle box and letting things land differently

(Of course, Mass Effect LE is an EA game, so even getting it running on windows is playing in Hard Mode to begin with)

Oh, promising: installed Pop!_OS and Steam, then installed No Man’s Sky and it ran. That was another game which bailed out with an obscure error on Bazzite. Gonna try Mass Effect next.

Also slightly tempted to try Kubuntu on this machine because I think I might be grumpy at gnome

Ope! I think we got Mass Effect! (dunno how to take a screenshot yet)

@Macross Well, this is me installing Linux on my bigger gaming PC. But also I've been putting a lot of crap on this gamedad. Apparently it can also stream games from the Linux PC on my LAN for sitting out on the deck?

Haha, suck it, impermanence. Apparently running Baldur's Gate on this Pop!_OS install managed to recover my cloud saves.

I'm kind of wondering if there was some fuckery going on with Flatpak installations and/or the read-only file system of Bezzite?

@Macross Heh, yeah, I have some PTO from work and apparently have decided that going feral with devices is relaxing
