A down side of having been hyperfocused lately on trying Linux on my gaming PC is that I stayed up 2 hours past bedtime last night playing a game that ran great

Hard to see, but there’s a little squirrel splooting on my roof. Zoom, enhance

Missed catching a photo of it, but this squirrel just climbed down and yolo-leapt into a tree from the roof, tail going like a propeller

I wonder if the news of glue-cheese-on-pizza micro-fame has reached fucksmith? Are they just wandering the world trying to lay low?

re: saxophone; the beat goes too hard

I've also realized the reason I like BOOGIE - BROCKHAMPTON so much is it sounds a lot like an Amiga mod full of semi-obnoxious samples that's somehow still a bop

re: saxophone; the beat goes too hard

@rckenned Man, Car Alarm is obnoxious, I love it. Also love that the drummer had to kick the car in the middle to keep the beat going

Really wish there was a feature in Zoom where I could “peek” in a room to see who’s there or at least see a head count before joining

@thegibson I think part of it kinda needs to look like an octopus with hoses that go into pockets

@thegibson Yeah, especially if it could snake out all Doctor Octopus style into the audience from the podium at a conference keynote

Hmm, so I've managed to do pho-lunch-and-a-bike-ride on two Friday afternoons this month so far. Very tempted to make it a summer habit if I can get away with it when the weather's nice (like it is today)

re: saxophone; the beat goes too hard

Heh, and it's always fun when I catch onto something late and experience the Milkshake Ducking replay 😅

@johnydoes@toot.community @fraying pls look at the people side of things. The tech is useless to me if it mostly only connects me to people I don’t want to talk to

scifi idea: when the AI bubble bursts, the sidewalks of san francisco fill up with small fusion reactors once used to support GPUs, kind of like aeron chairs in the 2000s once used to support dotcom butts. everyone runs off with cheap energy in the lull until the next stupid craze

@mdhughes Heck, the next one might be super light on energy but just directly pour massive plumes of sulfur into the atmosphere as a side effect

Oh man, billions of copies of this Oblique Strategies card need to be printed and airdropped over the entire Bay Area in California

(maybe a few strapped to bricks) (you know, for aerodynamics)

@UncleDuke1969 tucking away "hamster trucker" as an insult in my back-brain for future use

Was listening to the Vergecast and spaced out for part of it until someone said "yeah how many tops are you running? happy pride month" and I had to rewind

Apparently the new Raspberry Pi will support 13 tops? which just sounds exhausting, frankly

earthbound spoiler?

Played a little while on the exercise bike. Look at this majestic creature
