uhh... what?
Heh, one of the Key Requirements is "Be at least 23 years old and not have reached your 37th birthday on appointment" - haha no.
Also "Be willing and able to participate in arrests, execute search warrants, raids and similar assignments." - and my question would be "does following the CIA's Simple Sabotage Field Manual count as ''participation'"?

@benbrown lesson learned: give all project ideas the stupidest names always
Saw a couple tiktoks with motorcycle cops and now I have the C.H.i.P.S. theme stuck in my head
@c0debabe no sir, not at all
Getting around to reading @scalzi ’s Starter Villain and man I like how he writes dialogue
Neighbor just wandered out to his back patio with an accordion and started noodling. Wondering what other oddities a morning power outage will encourage.
Hmm, a car alarm just started going off and now accordion neighbor is playing along
Also, I’m very annoyed that it’s a sunny day, we have solar panels, but the installation is useless during a power outage
Like I know why the solar installation is useless currently. It’s still annoying. Tempted someday to see if I can upgrade it with a battery buffer without a second mortgage.
I do have a couple 12v 100ah batteries running an AC inverter for my fridge, so I’ve at least got that going for me.
There’s just a part of me making grabby hands motions at the dead solar box in my basement wishing I could invite some of those angry pixies to party in my battery. The technology exists but not on hand at the moment
@george yeah, that was one of the few reasons i was curious about a Ford F150 Lightning: I barely drive but a giant battery on wheels seems neato
@ahimsa_pdx Oh nice, I didn't know this got as far as the local news!
