@benbrown weirdly i pictured a sushi conveyor belt with gachapon claws to select dishes and that sounds messy @neovaldis
A thing that has happened a few times in my experience:
A: "We should test this before we launch"
B: "Yup, let's get a look at the test plan"
A: "We should test everything"
B: "Is there... a list? of 'everything'? Like, a plan?"
A: "Just test it all"
B: "Er, is there an enumeration of 'all' so we don't miss anything?"
A: ???
B: ?!?!?
@c0debabe in these times, i wish i lived in sight of the ocean and had sufficient throwing strength to reach it
(time passes)
A: "You missed (some obscure edge case)"
B: "Yeah, not surprising"
A: "We need to test everything"
B: "Yup. We should make a list of everything to test"
A: "We don't have time for that, just test everything"

My 12-year-old tribute to Bob Newhart (as seen on Mad TV)
@mathowie I feel like all these unserious candidates take for granted that things will just, like, keep running and not fall apart. Like, we can afford the screw around and not govern & build.
So I gave the new Yahoo! News app a try, since it's what's left of the old Artifact app and I thought it might be interesting.
It apparently gamifies reading news? Gives me badges and informs me I'm on a streak? FOH with that.
I've also enjoyed Flipboard for years, off & on. But over the past month or two, it's got Trump's face plastered all over the first stories whenever I open it.
Granted, that's probably just the top news and not Flipboard's fault in particular. But, I gotta take a break.
@mhoye gotta keep everyone who expects to access that information on their toes! teach the world to fish and all that
