@george i see what you did there

@kellan I just started reading that last week for the first time!

So, when I launch the YouTube app on my Fire TV, it just resumes whatever I was watching last.

I forgot that what I was watching last is this non-stop stream of Adult Swim channel sign-off videos.

They're trippy as hell and it took me a full 30 seconds to remember what the heck it was - even despite it saying "adult swim" in the corner

So Iā€™m taking out the trash. I turn around and the empty bag I was going to use has been absconded with and carried two rooms away

Not a new song, but I've had "Blown Minded" by Young Galaxy stuck in my head for about a month now

@recursive both have the potential to make me puke?

Hmm, I'm up to over 200 PDFs of 3-5 pages each in my handwriting from morning journal sessions on my eink tablet over the past year.

I wonder if that, along with some manual transcription, would be enough data to train a model to finally recognize my personal handwriting?

I keep wondering if a mini PC like this would be skookum enough to use as a workbench computer for light browsing and running OBS for live streaming from a few cameras

@socketwench I feel like this is the new "beowulf cluster"

I've gone through a few rounds of trying to use an old but decently spec'd Dell laptop as my workbench machine. But, it seems like the thermals on the laptop make it go useless if it's at all over like 70F in the workshop - which it often is

The kind of day when I'm scheming about hooking up a chatgpt responder to my work DMs. That, or at least Eliza

šŸ¤” I should find a good reusable JS implementation of Eliza

:thinkspin: Has anyone made an Eliza mastodon bot that retains a memory per user?

@billseitz I should refresh myself on the program, I want to say there was some version that retained a few past subjects and would randomly bring them back up to prod the conversation along
