This little article on the Autobot deaths in the movie is pretty great: Hasbro just wanted to change over product lines, so murdering the hell out of old characters seemed like a great way to do it. I guess they didn't, like, you know, consider that maybe that would have an adverse effect on the kids 😅

So I ordered this collector's edition thing from Shout! Factory back in May. I sort of expected it to come all in one box - but instead it sort of trickled in throughout the summer, one tchotchke at a time, in various packages and letter envelopes.

I think they had trouble with production? I can at least say that they've managed to finally today deliver the last piece promised in the box, so they have that going for them?

I'm not too stressed, since I ordered it as a gift with either late October or December in mind, and it's at least all gotten here in time for that
