It is conceivable, by some metric, that I went overboard in my recent acquisition of containers for paraphernalia

Still need to work out a not-awful desiccant situation for these things. I had a bunch of plastic mesh baggies, but seem to have misplaced them. That said, just dumping some into the bottom of one of the cereal containers did well for this spool of TPU

My initial round of this, last year when I first got the printer, resulted in not-awful and mostly-dry containment. But I need to tidy & rearrange all of this since I just got a new MMU3 upgrade to assemble

@kentbrew For being just dumb readouts, these seem not entirely awful? I got 4 of them about this time last year and they're still trucking on the original batteries

@kentbrew Oh and if you have need of a stand and access to a 3D printer, I made a ton of these into which those hygrometers just snap printables.com/model/826377-an

@tankgrrl Yeah, alas, my "shop" for this is a Portland, OR basement that (mostly) doesn't leak πŸ˜… We do have a dehumidifier down there, which keeps it vaguely around 45% - which is really good, everything considered.

This tins look rather handy though πŸ‘€

Just saw that fresh CPAP supplies were delivered and I exclaimed β€œOh, baller!” as I scooped up the package. I think a neighbor heard me

@kentbrew pretty sure they’re these button cells. Got them in my order history and seem to remember they were the same as my digital calipers a.co/d/1uWdcms

@mhoye Worse yet, be on guard for American Smarties

@neal As opposed to actual halloween wax toys like the Wowee Whistle @mhoye

@tedmielczarek Yeah, we have a Subaru Outback too, and that screen is the main thing that I hate every time I get in to drive @bhearsum

@tedmielczarek Oof, I keep meaning to do the software upgrade, but seems like the only time to do it is when I have to, like, drive the car somewhere @bhearsum

Took a survey, now the survey site wants me to take a survey about the survey

Ran out a spool of filament while , but just slotted in the next spool of the same filament and the printer picked up again with no problem. That's a pretty nice feature

Ironically, I am printing spool holder inserts with wheels for the cereal bins I bought, so I can dispense the filament right out of the containers.

I don't want to work, I just want to stream video games from my downstairs computer to my upstairs computer because then I can at least still say I'm at work technically
