At some point, maybe soon, a Steam Deck or something like it will be a more attractive upgrade to my gaming PC than a new GPU.
I'm already plenty pleased running Bazzite on my PC, so that seems a bunch of the way there
@jalefkowit I've got an AMD RX 5700 XT, which is going on 5 years old now. But, seems like nothing I actually end up playing makes the thing work up a sweat at 1080p resolution

@jer_ yeah, I’m thinking I’d use a steam deck docked in place of a desktop. Probably the next generation of it will be as powerful as the PC that i have now
@vonxylofon @jalefkowit it’s not been bad at all for me. I installed MuOS on the two anbernic machines I have and it’s all pretty well configured out of the box. And installation was just flashing a microsd card image
@vonxylofon @jalefkowit Me, I've got the RG35xx H and RG35xxSP.
Fairly pleased with both, though I think the H has better speakers & controls. But, the clamshell of the SP is pretty convenient - and the GBA SP was my favorite handheld back in the day. They both run the same OSes and games

Catsby spent hours & hours in the heated cat bed - even when it was unplugged - and drooled a LOT. I know it can be a sign of illness, but he also drools when he's very happy & comfy.
But then, on Sunday, he acted like his lower jaw was in pain. Wouldn't let me scratch his chin, wouldn't eat anything but wet food. Moped around a bit like he didn't feel great.
So, I took away the heated beds that morning. Today he seems pretty much back to normal and has the zoomies.
