@kf living the dream

So, earlier this summer, we had a seismic retrofit done to the house. That meant we had to pack up everything against the walls in the basement. And that meant my retro computer lab had to be dismantled.

Just this weekend, I carved out time to set it all back up again. Got a bit more to do but all systems are go

Also, I finally found a printable replacement control panel cover for my Commodore 1702 monitor that fits. Did a test print in black PLA, next printing another in Printed Solid Jesse Beige that should be a color match

Also, I'm pleased that I just barely got the control panel cover to fit on the print bed with supports

Alright, off to bed with my toddler brain. We've played computer enough for tonight

@wohali Looking back through my email, I'm pretty sure we didn't pay more than about US$1.50 / sqft for it back in 2019.

I think we got one of these fixed-size remnants from this place in Georgia (US)

Being able to print this very specific replacement part for my Commodore 1702 monitor is so cool

I feel like every C1702 monitor I see is missing this control panel door. Mine had it intact for years & years - since I was a kid, actually - until a cat managed to squeeze behind and knock it off a shelf about 6 years ago
