Importing follows from my self-hosted instance over here to the mothership. Still trying to figure out why I get too mentions from some instances but not others. Might help if I actually spent some time learning how the machinery works.

I know enough to stand up the docker containers, backup/restore the DBs, upgrade the code - but I have been putting off actually learning about ActivityPub and everything else Mastodon does

Was thinking about doing a code tinkering stream later tonight on Twitch, maybe I'll spend some time banging my head on ActivityPub and Mastodon after I make my WHEEL OF SIDE PROJECTS

What I should really do is find another small but friendly fediverse instance, set up camp there, and retire my own self-hosted instance until I write my own thing - because I am a Professional Glutton for Technological Punishment

@Ronkjeffries Well, it hasn't been *too* much work for me on a single-user instance over the past year or so - I mean if you don't count that I'm currently trying to figure out why it doesn't quite work :) So I guess, umm... yeah

Going to confuse everyone by poking my head into toot.cafe, too. This has seemed like a nice place for awhile and I really like purple.
