The internet just recommended to me that I rent some pants. I don't think I'm going to do that. I wouldn't want to wear pants someone like me had rented previously.

Like I've only rented a tux a few times in my life and I never quite felt right about it.

It's also worse if they meant british pants and not american

Kind of want to tinker some more with Shortcuts on iOS. I got one working this week that lets me tap the back of my phone to pop up a text entry alert that adds a list item to the end of today’s journal file in Obsidian. It’s handy

Back in 2005, I wrote a 600 page book on tinkering with RSS & Atom feeds. For years & years, I've been meaning to do something like that for ActivityStreams - and now, I guess, ActivityPub.

Of course, having written a few books kind of burned me out on writing books, so who knows if I'll get motivated to ever do it.

I also just incurred psychic damage for realizing that that ActivityStreams book I made a half-effort at starting was over 10 years ago. Ooooof.
