I had been a big Spotify user for almost 10 years. Then, rather abruptly, I switched almost entirely to listening to streaming DJs. A bit of Twitch, some Mixcloud, mostly bigsonicheaven.com

The last time I had a "Wrapped" playlist, it was like just stuff from two albums and a goth playlist I'd left playing overnight once

Oh yeah and occasionally Bandcamp, because I'm a sucker for a digital download paired with a vinyl record and some tchotchkes

And if I can keep the bunnies from chewing through the speaker wires, I even play records on our turntable from time to time

But for no 2., I do see hits in my logs from webfinger lookups that hit host-meta first before carrying on to the URL that I specified for webfinger (sometimes on a different host)

re: CGI - Are you, by chance, setting up a personal site where a webfinger query would really only ever turn up one user? Because one weird trick is to ignore the query parameter and just serve up a static webfinger resource with the sole account hardcoded
