Every time I order a new USB flash drive, I get a tiny frisson of future shock. Like, I still have my first 128mb spinning rust hard drive around here somewhere. Meanwhile this thing is 1000x the capacity and could blow away in a stiff wind
Meanwhile, I'm gonna load this thing up with ROMs and plug it into the tiny computer connected to my TV so I can play Sega Genesis games
@peter Yeah! That 128MB drive of mine was from an A1200 too! I remember really saving up some summer job money to buy that thing
@ffg Yeah, i think I got a couple of 512GB microSD cards a little while back for my Switch and some other system and just kind of stared at them for awhile
@crayzeigh I haven't actually bought a 1TB microSD yet, but had a couple of 512GBs in hand and just sort of blinked at them
@mos_8502 True story: I accidentally dropped a 128GB microSD card once and it bounced into the crack between a couple of floorboards never to be seen again
