Wow: Real Synthetic Audio, an industrial / synthpop net radio show, just celebrated 25 years running.
I haven't listened to every episode, but I have listened to a lot of them since about 2002.

I haven't listened to every episode, but I have listened to a lot of them since about 2002.
And the main reason I remember 2002 specifically, is because I think I first heard about the show when I went to Synthpop Goes the World in Toronto

@packetcat Yeah, there's a few ongoing shows like that. Like Dr. Demento's still going strong on an episodic MP3 thing that well pre-dates podcasting https://www.drdemento.com/

I had a C64 at home and could already type very fast, but got in trouble because I didn't do "home row touch typing" exactly as they taught
@Macross oof, yeah I forget how big a deal myspace kinda was
@Greg Got a new Synology 723+, seems pretty nice so far
@cgranade Once upon a time (2012), I tried convincing some folks that Mozilla should build an OS for tiny self-hosted server appliances. It didn't get very far, but I still think there's a place for the Firefox-of-servers in homes & data centers

@tithonium That's true. 🤔 And not one of them will ever be dry. CSPAN will just look damp.
Just ate a bowl of Nongshim instant ramen with too much habanero hot sauce drizzled in and I'm trying to convince myself that the burning sensation is just enthusiasm for the rest of my workday.
@danhon brain just rang like a gong as that memory unlocked
I have entered a twisty maze of Grafana, Prometheus, Telegraf, and OpenTelemetry
