Sometimes, I wish I still smoked, so I had a good reason to sit outside in the cold after dark.

(that said, I did sit outside last night to do a shrine in LoZ: ToTK on the Switch and that was pretty cool)

@jbaggs There's a little too much light pollution around here to see much of stars, though I do miss when I had a little telescope that I'd take out to the driveway at my mom's house growing up

@jbaggs The smoking thing, though, is that it's a consumable event with a start & end so at least some part of my annoying brain has an excuse

@paulasadoorian Metallic bile, like a Red Bull that's had a whole package of anthropomorphic paperclips soaking in it for a month.

@jpf 😅 pretty much

re: I ran into this information on wikipedia and now I am actively bitter about it

@cwebber "cel-da" was amazing though!

Whoa. I absolutely forgot that Ministry did a cover of "Same Old Scene" by Roxy Music, back in the With Sympathy era

Every now and then I get spam email that seems to assume I own Mozilla and it makes me giggle a lot

@c0debabe I mean, I possess a large portfolio of Mozilla sticker stock, but it doesn't give me any voting rights

@bitbear Oh, yeah, I think specifically I'm looking for an authoring experience with markdown + custom elements when I'm writing a blog post.

Most not-so-interactive, presentational custom elements could be unfurled into plain static HTML - not unlike macros or short codes.

A few more interesting custom elements could be passed through to be handled by web component JS on the client-side.

But, in either case, I want to author with custom elements and let the SSG figure it out

re: Shiny

@thegibson That's amazingly fancy but also now I want a pile of custom arcade tokens
