@juliewebgirl @elfin re: sticking good, I've had good luck if I make sure to give the liner a margin of maybe a millimeter or two around the edge of the lid. Also keeping it back away from any curved edges.
Otherwise, this Con-Tact brand clear shelf liner seems to stick pretty reliably well!
