@benbrown @Tedspence Grappling hooks, typewriter ribbons, and green herbs sound like items that would come up in the planning montage of a Wes Anderson movie

New macOS gripe, since upgrading to Sonoma:
Seems like every morning, at random, this machine decides to change the resolution on one of my monitors. Even worse, it forgets that other resolutions exist when I try to change the settings.
Best practical fix so far has been to unplug & re-plug the thunderbolt cable to the laptop. Then it re-detects the monitors and goes back to normal.
@craigmaloney The Rubik's Cube thing reminds me of when I fell down a rabbit hole and learned all the "moves" you can do to go from one state to another. There was a good week or so where I could reliably solve the cube from any starting point.
Then I wandered off, and now I don't remember any of it. I'm not sure how this relates to your realization of needing external help - other than that I'm nodding along and I sometimes need help for even things that at one point I sorta knew how to do myself.
That thing where you're trying to get a Continual Integration service to successfully complete a workflow but it keeps failing on one new thing after each 10-15 minute long iteration of fix and rebuild and you can't reproduce any of it locally so your day is just Groundhog Day
This 5-minute baguette only takes five minutes of work if you make the dough about 8 to 10 hours before, giving it time to rise, and you plan for 25 minutes of baking time.

Looking around, I can't find anyone having done any cover versions of "Windpower" by Thomas Dolby. One of my absolute favorite songs, I can't believe no one's done a remix or a new rendition
Half tempted to go down a rabbit hole in Sunvox or something to sequence up a cover myself
