For some reason last night, just before bed, my brain suddenly wanted to play Minecraft.

So, of course, I spent that time setting up a fresh Docker container with a game server and started looking up mods & plugins. I never actually launched the game client.

That thing where I get an email from a band I like letting me know about a new release called "organic plain white tee" and I expect it to be a song and not clothing

(it was clothing)

Hmm, the latest VSCode update seems to be frequently locking up and going unresponsive across both my Windows and macOS dev machines. That's unfortunate :blobdisapproval:

@jonasreich There's someone in Google who approved this text who thinks that personalized, well-delivered, and well-instrumented ads really do delight users. That, or brain-pretzeled into simulating that headspace during work hours

re: fallen london

@zwol @KitRedgrave I really like the concept of Fallen London, but I couldn't maintain attention on the grindy game loop long enough to see much fun stuff :sadcowblob:

re: fallen london

@zwol @KitRedgrave Oh yeah, it was Sunless Sea that attracted me to Fallen London in the first place. Spent two weeks of PTO playing it incessantly, a few years ago. Kind of bounced off Sunless Skies too, though

@masukomi Hell, I really care about feeding myself - it's pretty important. I forget to eat for many hours at a time.

You think a birthday or a special occasion is going to bubble up through the swiss cheese of this brain? Sheesh
