@rasterweb these prints and the 3d printed plates are super neato!
@c0debabe I'd had cabinet door inserts before for my kallax, but never this skadis pegboard mashup. Looks so handy!
@calcifer It's like she thinks you're running a nuclear reactor in a coffee can
@tomh I have an electric bicycle and this is an accurate portrayal
@calcifer well how else are you gonna power a mumble server?
A common occurrence in my life: "Huh, why's this part of me hurt?" (lifts shirt, pant leg, etc to reveal long cat scratch from when I last played with or held one of the cats an hour or two ago) "oh, that's why"
I love time-limited product trials where I sign up, get diverted into other things, then remember to come back - and find that the trial has expired and I can never try it again without paying
In particular, I got this toy 3018 CNC machine as a gift and found this Easel CAD/CAM cloud software that lots of guides said was beginner-friendly. Well, I signed up. Then I spent a week reworking my shop, came back to work from PTO, dealt with an ice storm, yadda yadda yadda my 30-day trial is already over and I never managed to use Easel to carve anything

@nomad Yeah, meh, I'll probably just find something else to use :flan_shrug:
I mean, to be fair, technically Easel has a bunch of features that work in a "free" version. But, very few of the interesting features are free - like, carving text is apparently pro-only? :blobconfused:
@thegibson tell us what this sun is like, we have not seen it for an age
@craigmaloney joke's on them, getting things back into packaging and untangling cables are entirely explained by what we don't know about quantum mechanics
