TIL: I can run fdisk and parted on disk image files just like real disks.
This came in handy for my #rc2014 today, as I putzed around with getting a custom set of RomWBW slices tacked together along with a mountable FAT16 partition to share files with my PC
If I’m not careful, I might even start to learn my way around CP/M and maybe even Z80 assembly
The Vergecast podcast just served me an ad for a Kohler smart toilet breathlessly narrated by a Vox Media creative director with urgent, swelling violins and praise for lighting customization and a lid that waves in greeting upon one's arrival
And all I could think was "FOR ME TO POOP ON"
and then the ad repeated

Catsby went to the vet yesterday. Today he got to eat baby food mixed with wet food. He lost a pound since November and hasn’t been super interested normal food. 🤞 Hoping we work out what's up with him.
He's 13 years old, which, you know, is a thing. But, he's still spry and gets into regular wrestling matches with his lil bro Cosmo. We're hoping to get him fattened back up
