Was sitting in my office, staring off and dissociating, when my eyes landed on a typewriter I have on a shelf here.
Stupid idea for a computer keyboard: Point a webcam at the print line on the carriage. Perform real time OCR as I type on a piece of paper. Convert that into USB HID messages to act like a keyboard for my computer.
I will never make this thing, but it's tempting
