@ernie When I was in college, my dorm was next to the loading dock of a campus cafeteria where milk crates appeared regularly.
I must have appropriated close to 60 milk crates before I graduated. I had a vast crate-and-duct-tape complex constructed beneath a loft bed, full of books and electronics and random knick-knacks.
When I graduated and moved away, I returned most of them to the loading dock. Not sure if they appreciated that 😅
But, I especially kept this one
